The Southeast Florida Planning Committee welcomes the Cave Family to join us July 23-26, 2026 in Fort Lauderdale, FL for a weekend filled with connection, laughter, and fun.  Known for its beautiful beaches, scenic waterways, and vibrant culture, Fort Lauderdale offers the perfect blend of relaxation and fun in the heart of the Sunshine State.

2026 Family Reunion Overview

 

Hotel Overview

 

The host hotel will be the Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Lauderdale 17th Street.  The hotel offers spacious suites, a made-to-order buffet breakfast each morning, a complimentary evening reception, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, and on-site dining including a sports bar, making it a comfortable and convenient home base for the weekend.  In addition, the hotel is just a short drive from the beach and Las Olas Boulevard, where you'll find great restaurants, shops and places to explore.

 

Note: The Meet & Greet, Family Banquet and Church Service will be held at the Embassy Suites.

  • 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm - Live Entertainment at The Circuit – Midtown Commerce Center: Historic Sistrunk Boulevard

Saturday, July 25th

  • 11:00 am - 1:00 pm - African American Research Library and Cultural Center (AARLCC)
  • 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm - Cave Family Banquet

Sunday, July 26th

  • 9:30 am - Family Worship Service
